🛑 Who did what? (Action Words)
In this story, we see a pattern: Person/Thing Action Who/What.
- Car hit man
- Police closed road
- Doctors took him
Simple Rule for A2: To tell a story, put the "doer" first, then the "action," then the "receiver."
Word Swap (Different Tenses): Most words here end in -ed because they happened in the past:
- Closed (Past) Close (Now)
- Stayed (Past) Stay (Now)
- Talked (Past) Talk (Now)
Special Word: Hit is a "magic" word. It looks the same in the past and now!
- Yesterday: The car hit the bike.
- Every day: The car hit the bike (rare, but the word doesn't change).
