⚡ The "Who did what?" Pattern

In this story, we see a very simple way to describe actions. To reach A2, you need to move from just naming things to showing action.

Look at these pairs:

  • Police \rightarrow looking for \rightarrow shooter
  • Doctors \rightarrow took \rightarrow victims
  • People \rightarrow ran away \rightarrow (fast!)

💡 Pro Tip: The "Now" vs "Then" Shift

Notice how the story changes time. This is the hardest part of A2, but look at the simple change here:

  1. Past (Finished): "Police arrived" / "Cars could not drive"
  2. Now (Happening): "Police are looking

Quick Rule: If it is happening right now, use AM/IS/ARE + word ending in -ING.

Example from text: Police are looking.
