💡 The 'Action' Pattern
In this text, we see how to describe people doing things in the past. To reach A2, you need to master these simple changes:
1. Regular Actions (Just add -ed)
- Pray → Prayed
- Talk → Talked
- Close → Closed
2. Special Actions (The word changes)
- Meet → Met
- Sing → Sang
- Say → Said
3. The 'No' Action (Did not + basic word)
- Agree → Did not agree
- Come → Did not come
Quick Look: How to use them
- Correct: They prayed at the temple. (Past)
- Correct: He did not come. (Past Negative)
