⏱️ The 'Past' Secret

Look at these words from the story:

  • Went
  • Decided
  • Paid
  • Found

What is happening here? We are talking about things that already happened. In English, we change the action word to show the time is in the past.

Two ways to change words:

  1. The Regular Way (Just add -ed) DecideDecided StopStopped

  2. The 'Change Everything' Way (Irregular) GoWent FindFound PayPaid

Quick Tip for A2: If you see -ed, it's usually a regular past action. If the word looks completely different (like go becoming went), you just have to memorize it! 🧠
