🕒 The 'Past' Pattern

In this story, everything already happened. To tell a story about the past, we often add -ed to the action word.

Look at the change:

  • Start → Started
  • Burn → Burned
  • Save → Saved

⚠️ The 'Rule Breakers' Some words are rebels. They don't use -ed. You must memorize them:

  • Go → Went
  • Have → Had
  • Die → Died (Regular)
  • Lose → Lost

Quick Guide for A2: If you want to talk about yesterday, check if the word is a 'Rebel' or a 'Regular' (-ed).
