Introduction

Leaders from the UK, France, and Germany met President Zelenskyy in London. They want to give more military help to Ukraine.

英國、法國及德國的領導人在倫敦會見了澤倫斯基總統。他們希望為烏克蘭提供更多軍事援助。

Main Body

The leaders talked about new weapons to stop missiles. They want the war to stop now. They want both sides to talk and agree on a peace plan.

領導人們討論了攔截飛彈的新武器。他們希望戰爭現在就停止。他們希望雙方能進行對話並就和平計劃達成共識。

Ukraine sent drones to attack cities in Russia. Russia attacked a place with nuclear fuel near Chernobyl. There was a fire, but the air is safe now.

President Zelenskyy asked to meet President Putin. President Putin said no. He does not want to talk yet. Both sides continue to fight.

Conclusion

The war is not ending. Both sides use long-range weapons. The leaders do not agree on how to stop the war.

When we want to say someone is not doing something, we use do not (or does not for one person). Look at these examples from the text:

  • The leaders do not agree.
  • He does not want to talk.

How to use it: Person/Group →\rightarrow Word →\rightarrow Action

  1. They →\rightarrow do not →\rightarrow agree.
  2. He →\rightarrow does not →\rightarrow want.
