The Change:
- Run → Ran
- Jump → Jumped
- Win → Won
- Lose → Lost
How to use them:
- The athletes ran fast. (This happened in Stockholm).
- He jumped 5.90m. (The action is finished).
Special Note: Saying 'No' in the Past When we want to say someone did NOT do something, we use did not + the normal word.
