⚡️ The 'Past Action' Pattern

In this story, we see how to talk about things that already happened. We change the word to show it is over.

The Change:

  • Run → Ran
  • Jump → Jumped
  • Win → Won
  • Lose → Lost

How to use them:

  • The athletes ran fast. (This happened in Stockholm).
  • He jumped 5.90m. (The action is finished).

Special Note: Saying 'No' in the Past When we want to say someone did NOT do something, we use did not + the normal word.

He did not won (Wrong) ✅ He did not win (Right)

Quick Summary: Past Action → Use the special word (Won/Ran). Past 'No' → Use did not + normal word (did not win).
