⚡️ The 'Want' Pattern
In this text, we see a very useful way to say what someone desires: [Person] + want(s) + [Action/Thing]
- President Zelenskyy wants to meet...
- He wants a meeting...
- He does not want to talk...
Simple Rule: If it is one person (He, She, Zelenskyy), add an -s → wants. If it is more than one person (They, We), no -s → want.
🛡️ Action Words (Verbs)
Look at how the text describes the conflict. These are basic A2 'power words':
- Hit to strike something.
- Trade to give one thing and get another.
- Support to help or agree with someone.
Example from text: "Ukraine used drones to hit Russian cities." (Past Action Result)
