💡 The 'Comparison' Trick

In the story, the teams compare players. To reach A2, you need to describe who is more or less something than another person.

The Pattern: [Person A] + is + [Adjective + er] + than + [Person B]

From the text:

  • Durbin is playing better than Bregman.

How it works simply:

  • Good \rightarrow Better
  • Fast \rightarrow Faster
  • Bad \rightarrow Worse

Real-world use:

  • The Cubs are worse than the Red Sox.
  • Caleb is better than Rob.

Quick Tip: Use better when someone is doing a great job and worse when they are having problems.
