Introduction
On June 8, 2026, a big earthquake hit the Philippines. Another earthquake happened near Cuba and Florida.

Main Body
A strong earthquake hit the Philippines. It killed 32 people and hurt 200 people. Some buildings fell down and a hill of dirt moved. The airport closed for a short time.

Big waves of water came to the coast. These waves were 1.4 meters high. President Marcos told schools to close. He sent help to the people in Mindanao.
