Introduction

A boat from Libya sank near Malta. Some people died and some people survived.

一艘從利比亞出發的船在馬爾他附近沉沒,部分人員死亡,部分人員倖存。

Main Body

A boat had 60 people. It started in Libya. The boat turned over in the water. Fishing boats and the Italian Coast Guard helped. They saved about 50 people. About 11 people died.

船上共有 60 人,由利比亞出發。船隻在海中翻覆,在漁船與義大利海岸巡防隊的協助下,救起了約 50 人,約 11 人死亡。

Many people try to travel from Africa to Europe. This is very dangerous. Many people die every year in this part of the sea.

The European Union gave money to Libya. They want to stop boats from leaving. Italy also helps the Libyan Coast Guard. Malta wants a better plan to stop people from selling boat trips.
