Vocabulary Learning

The 'Will' Power

In this text, we see the word will used many times. We use will to talk about things that happen in the future (things that are not happening right now).

Look at these patterns:

  • People will visit → (Future action)
  • They will see → (Future action)
  • People will play → (Future action)

How to build your own sentence: Person + will + Action

Example: I will learn English.

Word Switch: Old vs. New

Notice how the writer compares two opposite ideas. This is a great way to describe things at an A2 level.

Old \text{→} Traditional (Gugak music, Dano holiday, old games) New \text{→} Modern (K-pop)

Quick Tip: Use "different from" to show a contrast. Example: This music is different from that music.
