Many accidents happen with these private buses. From 2023 to 2025, there were 958 big accidents. Most of these were private buses. Some buses have broken parts and there are not enough good drivers.

Private drivers get very little money. They are tired and want different jobs. This makes the buses dangerous for people.

Now, BEST wants to change the rules. They will check the buses more. They will fine companies 10,000 rupees for bad repairs. If accidents do not stop, BEST will stop using private buses.

Conclusion

The accident in Dadar shows that BEST must check private companies more or stop using them.
