Vocabulary Learning
The 'Past' Story Tool
To reach A2, you need to tell stories about things that already happened. Look at how this text changes words to show the past:
Action Words Change:
- hit hit (Stayed the same!)
- die died
- fall fell
- close closed
- send sent
The 'State' Word:
- is/are was/were
- Example: "It was not as strong."
Key Pattern for You: When you talk about a finished event, most words just need a -ed at the end (like closed), but some 'rule-breakers' change completely (like fell). This is the fastest way to move from A1 to A2.
