- Did not use → (He forgot the safety tool)
Why this matters:
When we use did not, the action word stays simple.
❌ Incorrect: Did not knew ✅ Correct: Did not know
Quick Logic:
Did already tells us it is the past, so the next word doesn't need to change.
- Positive: He used a jacket.
- Negative: He did not use a jacket. (The 'ed' disappears!)
