Introduction

Three big warehouses burned in different parts of the world. Many buildings were destroyed.

A big warehouse in Tracy, California, burned on June 11, 2026. The water systems did not work. The weather was very hot and dry. The smoke was dangerous for people to breathe.

In Bhopal, India, a shop with fireworks burned. There were many loud explosions. The shop was near gas stations. Police are now checking the laws for this shop.

When we talk about things that already happened, we often change the action word (the verb). Look at how the article describes the fires:

How to use this: If you want to say something happened yesterday or last year, add -ed to the end of most action words.
