💡 THE "ACTION" PATTERN

Look at how we describe people doing things in the past. We just use a simple word change:

  • Plan \rightarrow Planned
  • Use \rightarrow Used
  • Kill \rightarrow Killed
  • Hide \rightarrow Hid

How to use this for A2: To tell a story about yesterday, take the action word and add -ed.

Example: "They planned the crime."

Watch out! Some words are rebels and change completely:

WriteWrote\text{Write} \rightarrow \text{Wrote} SaySaid\text{Say} \rightarrow \text{Said}
