Vocabulary Learning
🛑 Making Things Negative
In the text, we see how to say someone does not do something. This is key for A2 English.
The Pattern:
Person + do not + Action
Examples from the story:
- They do not agree.
- Leaders do not speak.
Quick Rule: Use do not when there are many people (They/Leaders/We). It turns a 'Yes' sentence into a 'No' sentence.
🌍 Action Words (Present Tense)
Look at how the text describes things happening now and every day:
- Use (They use planes)
- Fight (Hezbollah and Israel fight)
- Help (Iran helps)
Tip: For one person or group (like Iran), we often add an -s to the end of the word help becomes helps.
