Introduction

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) party has a big problem. Some members are fighting and want to start a new group.

Main Body

About 20 members of the TMC are unhappy. They do not like Abhishek Banerjee. These members asked the Speaker of the House to let them be the real party. They might work with the BJP party now.

Conclusion

The TMC party is still divided. The opposition parties are also struggling to work together.

🚩 The 'Feeling' Words

In the story, we see words that describe a bad feeling. These are very common in A2 English to explain a problem.

  • Unhappy \rightarrow Not happy. (Example: The members are unhappy.)
  • Fighting \rightarrow Arguing or using violence. (Example: Some members are fighting.)
  • Struggling \rightarrow Trying hard but finding it difficult. (Example: Parties are struggling to work together.)

🛠️ Making it Negative

Look at how the text says things are NOT happening. We use do not or does not.

  1. Do not (for many people/I/you/we/they)
    • They do not like...
  2. Does not (for one person/he/she/it)
    • He does not help...

Quick Rule: Plural \rightarrow do not Singular \rightarrow does not
