Introduction

The King of England had a big parade in London. This parade is for his official birthday.

Main Body

The parade is very old. The King and Queen rode in a special carriage. More than 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians were there. The King wore a soldier's uniform and looked at the troops.

Other royal family members were there too. The Prince of Wales and the Princess Royal rode horses. The Princess of Wales was in a carriage with her three children. She wore a bracelet from Princess Diana.

Many people liked the parade. Some people did not like the monarchy and shouted against it. Nine planes flew in the sky. In the future, only seven planes will fly because the planes are old.
