The 'Too Much' Rule

In this story, we see the word too used to show a problem.

  • Too many people (More than the bus can hold) \rightarrow Problem
  • Too slow (Not fast enough to save lives) \rightarrow Problem

How to use it: Put too before a word to say "this is a bad amount."

Too+extAdjective/Amount=extBad/Wrong\text{Too} + ext{Adjective/Amount} = ext{Bad/Wrong}

Examples from the text:

  1. The bus had too many people. (Overcrowded)
  2. This was too slow. (Dangerous)

Action Words (Past vs. Present)
