Dengue Fever is Spreading Around the World

Introduction

More people are getting dengue fever. This happens because the weather is changing and some hospitals are not good.

Main Body

Many more people have this sickness now. In the year 2000, 500,000 people were sick. In 2024, 14.6 million people were sick. This happens because cities grow fast and the weather changes.

Doctors find it hard to help. Dengue looks like other sicknesses. Some people have other health problems too. People with diabetes or heart problems get very sick more often. Some people even die.

Some countries try to help. They use fast tests to find the sickness. In Uganda, they work with local people. But there is no special medicine to cure dengue and vaccines are not for everyone.

Conclusion

Dengue is a big danger. We need more money for tests and new medicine to save people.
