🌡️ Talking about Now vs. Later

In this story, we see two ways to talk about time. If you want to reach A2, you need to know when to use Is/Are and when to use Will.

1. The Current State (Now) We use these for things that are happening right now or are generally true:

  • The West is hot.
  • The water is dangerous.
  • Cities have floods.

2. The Prediction (Future) When we look at the calendar or the forecast, we use Will:

  • Weather \rightarrow will get cooler.
  • West \rightarrow will be hot.
  • Gulf Coast \rightarrow will have floods.

💡 Simple Pattern to Remember: Fact/Now \rightarrow IS/ARE Future/Change \rightarrow WILL
