Main Body
A strong earthquake hit Palu in Indonesia. It broke walls and roofs. Some people left hospitals to stay safe. Eight people were hurt.

In China, an earthquake hit Qinghai. One person died and four people were hurt. Workers left coal mines quickly.

Japan also had earthquakes. People in Tokyo felt the ground shake. No one died and there was no big wave in the sea.

Other earthquakes hit Sumatra and the Philippines. In the Philippines, 32 people died.
