⚡ The 'Action' Connection

Look at how we describe things that happened in the past. In this text, we see a very simple pattern: Subject + Simple Verb.

Examples from the text:

  • ICAC → found (problems)
  • ICAC → arrested (people)
  • Lau → took (money)
  • Tang → told (people)

The Rule for A2 Beginners: To talk about the past, we often change the end of the word (like startstarted). But some words change completely (like taketook).
