Introduction

Taiwan will start a new drone group in July. This will help the army use new technology.

台灣將於七月成立一個新的無人機小組,這將有助於軍方運用新技術。

Main Body

The new group is in the Guandu area. Taiwan wants to use drones to protect the land. They bought 291 drones from the USA. Some drones hit sea targets perfectly in tests.

But the government has a problem with money. The leaders in the legislature do not agree on the cost. They cut the defense budget by a lot of money.

The government asked for $39.8 billion. The legislature gave them only $24.8 billion. This is a big drop in money.
