🛑 The Power of "NOT"

In English, we use not to change a "Yes" to a "No". Look at how the story changes the meaning:

  • He worked well \rightarrow He did not work well.
  • He knows \rightarrow He does not know.

Simple Rule: When talking about the past (things that already happened), we use did not + the action word.

  • Example: He did not work (Wrong ×\times)

When talking about now or a general fact, we use does not for one person (he/she/it).

  • Example: He does not know (Wrong ×\times)
