Telegram

Introduction

The Indian government stopped people from using Telegram. They did this to keep a big school exam safe.

Main Body

The government blocked Telegram until June 22, 2026. They also stopped people from changing old messages. Bad people used the app to sell fake exam papers to students for money.

Police found groups of people who cheated. These people lied about the exam papers. The government tried to stop small groups first, but it did not work. So, they blocked the whole app.

Telegram is now angry. They went to a court in Delhi. Telegram says the ban is unfair to 150 million users. They say people will just use other apps to cheat.

Conclusion

The court is now looking at the problem. They want to decide if the government was right.
