🕒 Time & Action

Look at how we talk about the future and the past in this text. It is the key to A2 English.

1. The Future (Will) We use will for things that happen later.

  • Some people will pay less interest.
  • They will send new letters.

Pattern: Person + will + action \rightarrow Future Event.

2. The Past (Was/Fixed) When the story moves to something that already happened, the words change.

  • There was a computer mistake.
  • The government fixed the mistake.

Contrast:

  • will send (Future) \rightarrow fixed (Past)

💡 Quick Tip: 'Must' When the text says "they must use" or "must sign up", it means it is 100% necessary. There is no choice.
