🕒 The 'Past' Story

Look at how the story tells us things that already happened. To reach A2, you need to spot these 'action' words.

The Pattern: Most words just add -ed to the end to show the past.

  • cause → caused
  • hurt → hurt (stays the same!)

The 'Rule Breakers' (Irregulars): Some words change completely. You must memorize these:

  • drink → drank
  • run → ran
  • go → went
  • find → found

🛠️ Describing 'Stuff'

Notice how the writer describes things using a simple order: [Number] + [Description] + [Thing].

  • Five (Number) + people (Thing)
  • Two (Number) + people (Thing)
  • A (One) + metal (Description) + hand tool (Thing)

Quick Tip: Use this simple formula to describe anything you see around you! \rightarrow One red apple.
