Main Body

The fire started at 2:30 PM on the roof. The roof had solar panels. A pipe broke and dangerous gas went into the air. The Mayor told people to stay inside their homes. They closed their windows and turned off their air conditioning.

Firefighters used three helicopters to drop water on the fire. The gas was dangerous, so some firefighters had to move away for a short time. The fire was hard to stop because of the batteries in the solar panels.

By the evening, the fire on the roof stopped. Firefighters then went inside the building to check for more problems.

Conclusion

The fire is gone now. The dangerous gas is gone too. Police are looking for the cause of the fire.
