Introduction

Many places in Western Europe are very hot now. Temperatures are more than 40°C. This heat causes problems for trains and schools.

France is very hot. The government says 36 million people must be careful. President Macron says old people and sick people need help.

Trains and schools have problems. SNCF stopped 71 trains. Many schools closed or changed their hours. Some power plants may stop working because the river water is too warm.
