🚀 The "Want" Pattern

In this text, we see a very useful word for A2 students: Want.

It tells us about a goal or a wish. Look how it changes based on who is talking:

  • Plural/I/You/We/They \rightarrow want (Example: "European countries want to make..." / "They do not want...")
  • Single person/thing (He/She/It) \rightarrow wants (Example: "Germany wants to help..." / "The government wants...")

💡 Pro Tip: If you want to do an action, use this formula: Person + want/wants + to + action.

  • Europe wants to make AI.
  • Germany wants to help companies.
