People had dragon boat races in Stanley and Aberdeen for the Tuen Ng Festival.

In Stanley, 185 teams from many countries raced in 40 games. Eileen Gu came to the event. She said sports help people from different countries learn about each other. There was also food and music.

In Aberdeen, 49 teams and 1,700 people raced in 33 games. Local fishers said the event helps people in the town stay friends. Many people from the Netherlands came to watch and race.

It rained for a few days. However, the teams did not stop their practice. Many young and old people came to see the boats.

The races ended. Now, the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Races start next Saturday and Sunday in Tsim Sha Tsui.
