Introduction

The US government is fixing a big pool. The pool had many problems after a costly repair.

Main Body

The government spent about 14 million dollars to paint the pool blue. The dark blue paint made the water hot. Then, green plants called algae grew in the water.

Workers used special bubbles and chemicals to clean the water. But the paint started to peel off. President Trump said bad people put chemicals in the water to ruin the project.

Police and soldiers now guard the pool. They arrested some people near the water. One man said he only wanted to look at the peeling paint.

Conclusion

The pool is still not perfect. The government is still cleaning the water and guarding the area.
