India Builds New Fast Trains

Introduction

The Indian government wants seven new fast train lines. These trains will make travel between cities much quicker.

Main Body

Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw says the trains will connect big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. One project between Mumbai and Ahmedabad is almost finished. Workers already put up many poles for electricity.

Some cities will grow because of these trains. But in Japan, China, and France, fast trains sometimes help only the biggest cities. Small cities sometimes lose business to the big cities.

These trains cost a lot of money. India must build schools and factories in small cities too. This helps the small cities stay strong.

Conclusion

India is building many fast trains. This saves time, but the government must plan well to help all cities.

🚅 The 'Will' Power

In this story, the writer uses will to talk about things that are going to happen in the future. This is the easiest way to predict the future in English.

How it works: Subject + will + action

Examples from the text:

  • These trains \rightarrow will \rightarrow make travel quicker.
  • The trains \rightarrow will \rightarrow connect big cities.

💡 Quick Tip: Notice that the action word (like make or connect) does not change. You don't add "s" or "ing". It stays simple!
