🧩 The 'People & Actions' Pattern
Look at how the article describes what people do. In A2 English, we use Subject + Verb + Object.
The Basic Map:
- Who? Does what? To what/whom?
Examples from the text:
- The government (Who) has (Does) a big problem (What).
- President Trump (Who) wants (Does) a new leader (What).
- The law (Who/What) lets (Does) the government spy (What).
💡 Why this helps you: If you can find the person (the subject) and the action (the verb), you can understand almost any simple English sentence.
Quick Tip: 'Do not' When someone doesn't do something, just add do not before the action:
- They do not agree.
- He does not have experience.
Remember: Use 'does not' for one person (He/She/It) and 'do not' for many people (They/We).
