🏆 The "Win/Loss" Pattern
In English, we use did not to show something didn't happen in the past. Notice the change in the words:
- Positive: "The Prairie School won" (They got the trophy!)
- Negative: "Xavier did not win" (No trophy for them.)
Crucial Rule: When we use did not, the action word (win) goes back to its simple, present form. We don't say "did not won."
