Introduction
The National Testing Agency (NTA) held a re-examination for the NEET-UG 2026 on June 21. This decision followed the cancellation of the first session in May because the security of the exam had been compromised.

While Biology was considered relatively easy, the Physics section was much harder and caused time pressure because it focused on practical problems. Consequently, experts from Aakash Educational Services and Scholars Den suggested that the general category cut-off marks for the All-India Quota will likely drop to between 525 and 600 marks.

Meanwhile, the NTA and the Press Information Bureau (PIB) denied social media claims of another leak, stating that such reports were completely false.
