The Magic of "Consequently" Instead of saying "And then there was a crisis," the author uses Consequently. This tells the reader: "Action A happened, and as a direct result, Action B followed."

🧠 Analysis: The 'Although' Pivot
Notice this sentence:

Why this is B2 level: An A2 student would write two sentences: "The Kremlin says the economy is stable. But tourism is hurting."
A B2 student combines them. By starting with Although, you create a 'pivot'. You acknowledge one side of the story first, which makes your English sound more academic and balanced.
Quick Tip: When you use Although at the start, you do not need to put but in the middle of the sentence. The comma is enough!
