North Korean leaders have announced a plan to systematically increase their maritime strength, highlighted by the introduction of a new multipurpose destroyer.

Furthermore, the administration has stated that it plans to build two similar warships every year for the next five years.

He asserted that this initiative is necessary because the navy has historically been weaker than other military branches. Consequently, the military expects to deploy the Kang Kon destroyer and introduce larger 10,000-ton strategic vessels.
