🎯 Vocabulary Precision: 'Address' vs. 'Fix'
In the article, officials are addressing a problem.
- A2 Level: "They are fixing the problem." (Simple, direct).
- B2 Level: "They are addressing the problem."
Why is this better? To "fix" means the problem is gone. To "address" means you are dealing with it, studying it, and working on a solution. It is a more professional, nuanced way to describe work in progress.
