The European Investment Bank (EIB) has created a €3 billion funding package for Airbus to help the company develop new technologies in the aerospace industry.

This financial agreement is the largest corporate loan in the bank's history. It aims to strengthen the European Union's industrial base and help the region become more independent in its technology. An initial payment of €1 billion has already been arranged in Brussels to support advanced systems for both commercial flights and security infrastructure.

To support long-term projects, the EIB has offered flexible payment terms. Consequently, this capital will give Airbus the financial stability it needs to continue innovating in commercial aircraft, helicopters, and space systems.
