World number one Aryna Sabalenka has officially asked the All England Club to change its rules that ban pets, except for service animals.

Currently, Wimbledon's rules only allow service and security dogs on site. Chief Executive Sally Bolton emphasized that this policy was explained to all players before the tournament began. This is very different from the French Open, where the organizers provided a full support system for pets, including official passes and a special concierge service. Consequently, animals were even seen during the trophy ceremonies at Roland Garros with players like Mirra Andreeva and Alexander Zverev.

Although she understands that the All England Club wants to protect its historic grounds from damage, she asserted that players' pets are well-trained and would not cause any problems. Furthermore, this issue has gained more attention on social media, as more athletes now travel with their pets as part of their professional routine.
