Why this is a B2 move: Instead of using "so" (which is common and simple), "Consequently" signals a formal cause-and-effect relationship. It tells the reader: 'Because A happened, B became the necessary result.'

🔗 The Expansion: "Furthermore"

The B2 Secret: Stop using "and" or "also" to start every sentence. "Furthermore" is used when you are adding a new, strong piece of evidence to support your point. It adds weight and authority to your speaking and writing.
