In contrast, the U.S. improved its relationship with Turkey, signaling an intent to remove sanctions and reconsider selling F-35 fighter jets to Ankara, despite objections from the U.S. Congress and the Israeli government.

Meanwhile, the President's health and mental fitness became a topic of debate after he reportedly confused President Zelenskyy with President Putin, though the White House claimed these were minor issues.
