In Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, a young girl was kidnapped and gang-raped by people living in her neighborhood. The attackers used a private building for the crime, which they recorded and shared online. Police have arrested one suspect, but the second person is still missing. The suspects are being charged under the POCSO Act, the BNS, and the IT Act.

Similarly, in the Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh, a woman was gang-raped after being forced into a field. This happened while her husband was unconscious after drinking kosna, a traditional local drink. The victim reported the crime two days later, and police have since detained four men.

In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a man was arrested after Google's automated systems found child abuse material on a cloud account. This information was shared with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Indian police. Using technical tracking, authorities confirmed the man had recorded explicit content of family members and other children. Meanwhile, in Queens, New York, a 15-year-old boy was assaulted behind a house. The suspect, who was wearing women's clothes, has not been caught yet.
