Therefore, initial production may be handled by European partners. Poland has offered its support, and the German company Rheinmetall has the necessary facilities. Furthermore, Lockheed Martin and Rheinmetall have agreed to create the first non-U.S. production line for ATACMS missiles in Germany, with full production expected by 2027.

This network will allow for local repairs, reducing the need to send equipment back to the U.S. Finally, leaders discussed bringing Turkey back into the F-35 fighter jet program, provided that security risks regarding Turkey's Russian S-400 systems are resolved.
