Four people working in the information technology sector died and three others were seriously injured after their vehicle crashed into a parked truck in Uttar Pradesh.

The accident happened during a company trip to Corbett National Park, which was organized for twelve employees and vendors from Delhi who had reached specific performance goals. The group had split into two cars to travel toward Ramnagar. According to a witness named Akhilesh Singh, the car involved in the crash had a flat tire about one kilometer before the accident; consequently, some passengers had switched between the two vehicles to resolve the issue.

Police officials, led by Superintendent Somendra Meena, have started an investigation into what caused the crash. Preliminary theories suggest that the road was not well-lit. Furthermore, the police are currently reviewing CCTV footage to gather more evidence. The victims have been identified as Abhishek Agnihotri, Kartik Rajput, Neeraj Singh, and Gulbuddin Hekmatyar. The survivors, Kamal, Vishal, and Jatin, were first treated at a local health center before being moved to the Rampur district hospital for further medical care.
