The body was found at approximately 11:30 am, about 350 meters downstream from the Meenakshi bridge in an area filled with iron debris. After the family identified the body, it was taken to Vythiri Talik Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Furthermore, the body will be moved to the Kozhikode Government Medical Hospital for embalming. Regarding the official response, Kerala Agriculture Minister T Siddique has emphasized that the construction company must provide both immediate and long-term financial compensation to the injured workers and the families of the victims.
